Cleshar is a well-established and respected provider of track, civil engineering, construction, and maintenance services to the rail industry, operating for over 30 years as a main rail industry supplier.

Herd Group are supplying Cleshar with 164 light commercial vehicles - a mix of commercial-derived vans in long, medium, and short wheelbase configurations, plus dropside vehicles, some with tail lifts. The partnership began in 2018.

Vehicles transport contractors and workers to job sites for HS2, Network Rail, and London Underground, so uptime and compliance are non-negotiable.

Fleet customisation includes bespoke vehicle tracking configured to specific operational needs, reporting options to increase workforce productivity and fleet efficiency, and Armaplates fitted for security to prevent forced entry and reduce insurance premiums.
